Everyone has their own unique story. While these experiences certainly impact us, they do not have to define who we are as individuals. I believe that these unique life experiences can be opportunities for personal growth, healing, and change. Painful experiences can be a double-edged sword in that they may cause suffering, but they also enable us to grow and find deeper meaning. I believe that every person has an inner ability to heal and grow. At times, it is helpful to have the assistance of a trained professional to guide us through this healing process.
I provide a compassionate and gentle approach to therapy, with the goal of strengthening and honoring the "inner-you", so that you can live a more authentic and genuine life.
I take an attachment theory approach to therapy and will often combine other therapeutic modalities that best suits the individual. I am client-centered and focus on issues brought up during the therapy session.
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space for my clients to feel heard, understood, and empowered through their work in therapy.
I have been working as a private therapist since 2016. I enjoy working with each individual client, learning their personal story, exploring how these experiences have impacted them, and assisting them in their journey to self-discovery.
I have experience working in the medical setting and have practiced in several Bay Area hospitals. I have worked in multiple acute care settings with multi-cultural populations and all age groups. Through my hospital work, I realized that my true passion is working with individuals on a one-on-one basis where I can provide direct on-going therapeutic support.
